WHAT’S COMING IN FEBRUARY?
Senior creative director on EA Sports WRC at Codemasters ROSS GOWING
SUICIDE SQUAD: KILL THE JUSTICE LEAGUE The ultimate band of misfits returns, and they’re out to save the world – by killing the Justice League! Join Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark, complete with their own ways of getting things done, in a large, ever-changing open world Metropolis that’s been ravaged by Brainiac, who’s turned the heroes who once protected it. Go at it alone or online with up to three friends, finding your best way to get around and, of course, to fight!
PERSONA 3 RELOAD Get ready to step back in time as a genuinely classic Persona outing gets the full bells and whistles reimagining treatment, from the graphics right through to the UI. You’ll take on the role of a transfer student who’s been thrust into an unexpected fate when entering the hour that’s hidden between one day and the next. Over time, you’ll build and command your best team and aim to take down otherworldly Shadows and inch ever closer to the truth.
1 What’s the first game that you
remember playing? It was probably Bomber or Frogger on the Commodore VIC 20 which my dad had when I was a kid, and then the first one I played that I owned
myself was Alex Kidd in Miracle World on the Master System II.
2 What was the last game that you finished? I played through all of Rez again for the umpteenth time recently. There’s so much to love about that game and I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it!

3 What’s your favourite video game/ series of all time? The DiRT Rally series is one I loved both working on and playing, so that’s right up there. My guilty pleasure for the last 25 years has been the Championship Manager/Football Manager series, though. It consumed a lot of my teenage years and early twenties to the point of obsession, so I now try to just play it for a couple of hours here and there to relax. underrated video game of all time? I don’t know if it’s necessarily underrated, but Overcooked is a game I’m always finding people haven’t played and I can recommend it to them, for fun family co-op or with a couple of friends it’s great fun! 5 What’s the game that you most wish you’d worked on? Ooh, tough question! I’ve been really lucky to have worked on some great games, so have never really felt like I’ve missed out on anything. Maybe if I’d been born ten years earlier, I could have worked on GoldenEye 007 on the N64 and removed Oddjob from the playable characters to stop everyone from using him to cheat! 4 What do you think is the most
MARIO VS. DONKEY KONG If you love your platformers mixed with some cool puzzle action, then you’re in for a treat as old adversaries Mario and Donkey Kong duke it out once again. The big ape has stolen all of the Mini-Mario toys and strewn them all throughout the big city. Naturally, it’s Mario to the rescue, in this update of the series that kicked off back on the Game Boy Advance. Whether it’s spikes, moving platforms, or falling bricks, nothing will stand in the way of our intrepid tradie!
FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH It’s time for the second instalment in the Final Fantasy VII three-part remake project, which continues the reimagining of the legendary PlayStation game by its original creators. The “Unknown Journey” continues as, after escaping from the dystopian city of Midgar, Cloud and his friends set out across the planet in search of Sephiroth. Plus, we’ll get to dig deeper into the game’s world with all sorts of engaging side content and minigames.
