Scream 7 (February) We love a good franchise, and there are plenty of reasons to get excited for Scream 7 . Thirty years after Wes Craven reshaped horror, original writer Kevin Williamson finally steps up to direct a fresh new chapter. Neve Campbell returns after sitting out the last film, joining Courteney Cox, Mason Gooding, and Jasmin Savoy Brown. New blood enters the fray too, with Joel McHale, Anna Camp, Isabel May, and Ethan Embry rounding out the cast. Project: Hail Mary (March) The trailers for Project: Hail Mary have us hooked, teasing just enough to leave us wanting more! Ryan Gosling stars as Earth’s last hope, the only person with the knowledge to save humanity from a cosmic disaster. From the creative minds behind Into the Spider Verse and 21 Jump Street , this epic sci-fi adventure promises a thrilling ride that blends the wonder of Interstellar with the ingenuity of The Martian . We’re all in!

The Magic Faraway Tree (March)

Michael (April) We’ve seen countless music biopics in recent years, but none as highly anticipated as the story of Michael Jackson. With director Antoine Fuqua ( Training Day ) at the helm and the blessing of Jackson’s estate, confidence is high that this will be a powerful musical drama. Jaafar Jackson stars as his late uncle, supported by Colman Domingo, Miles Teller, and Nia Long. With Michael’s biggest hits included, it’s sure to be an emotional and toe-tapping experience. Masters of the Universe (June) Travis Knight, who brought us Kubo and the Two Strings and Bumblebee , is taking on a big-budget, live-action take on the '80s cartoon classic Masters of the Universe . Rising star Nicholas Galitzine suits up as He-Man, while Jared Leto steps into Skeletor’s villainous shoes. Idris Elba and Alison Brie join the fun. Plenty of attempts have tried to bring He-Man back to the big screen, but this one’s got us seriously excited!

Supergirl (June) We got our first taste of Supergirl in James Gunn’s Superman. Now she’s back in her own movie, set to launch the new DC Universe into an exciting era. Fans are thrilled that it’s adapted from the popular comic Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow . All we know is that she’ll travel across the galaxy with her superdog Krypto for her 21st birthday, facing a tragedy along the way. If Superman is any guide, there’s plenty to be excited about. The Odyssey (July) Is there a more epic tale than Homer’s Odyssey ? Christopher Nolan, fresh off Oppenheimer , is taking on Greek mythology to bring the story of the king of Ithaca and the Trojan War to life. The cast is stacked with Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, Mia Goth, and more. Tickets for select IMAX screenings sold out a year in advance, hinting at just how massive this cinematic journey will be.

For older generations, The Magic Faraway Tree is a nostalgic trip into Enid Blyton’s beloved world, and for younger viewers, it’s a fresh, magical adventure. From the creators of Paddington and Wonka , the story has a family whisked away when they discover a magical tree near their new farmhouse. Starring Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy, with Rebecca Ferguson, Jennifer Saunders, and Michael Palin rounding out the cast, it’s set to be the family film of the year! The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (April) Few saw 2023’s The Super Mario Bros. Movie becoming such a mega hit, which makes this sequel one of the year’s most anticipated releases. With the same creative team returning and Chris Pratt, Jack Black, Anya Taylor-Joy and other returning players, we’re confident Illumination will deliver another unforgettable blockbuster. The biggest question is will Bowser top his unforgettable Peaches number or give us an entirely new musical moment just as hilariously iconic?
