HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE MADMAN The biggest and most exciting 4K release of the year also marks a heartfelt tribute to the late Sam Neill. THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS (25TH ANNIVERSARY) AID Before taking to space and drifting across the Arctic, Dom and his “family” enjoyed humbler hooning antics in the film that started it all. 28 DAYS LATER AID Before the sequels, Danny Boyle’s 28 Days Later was a groundbreaking not quite-zombie horror that revolutionised the genre, replacing lumbering undead with terrifyingly fast infected and giving the apocalypse a raw, digital-video immediacy. Cillian Murphy stars as Jim, waking from a coma to find London deserted and society collapsing. GINGER SNAPS TRILOGY VIAVISION

NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN AID The Coen brothers’ Oscar-winning modern western remains a masterclass in tension, following a hunter who discovers a drug deal gone wrong and $2 million in cash, only to find himself pursued by the remorseless Anton Chigurh. ROBIN HOOD AID Two Australian Robins arrive on home entertainment at the same time, with the 4K release of Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood joining The Death of Robin Hood – both led by Aussies (yes, we’re claiming Rusty in this instance), Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman. Scott’s epic reimagines the legend as Robin assumes the identity of a fallen nobleman and becomes embroiled in Nottingham’s political turmoil. This 4K release features a 2.40:1 presentation, DTS Master Audio, DTS 5.1, and Dolby Digital 5.1, spanning 156 minutes. Out Sep 9

Cult movies don’t get much more influential than Ginger Snaps , the Canadian werewolf trilogy that turned puberty, sisterhood, and female identity into bloody horror metaphors. The 2000 original follows sisters Ginger and Brigitte after a werewolf attack changes everything, with two 2004 sequels expanding their story. This release collects all three films, with the original presented in 4K Dolby Vision/ HDR10 with Dolby TrueHD 7.1, plus the sequels on Blu-ray, housed in a limited edition lenticular hardcase.
