Lenovo reveals new Yoga laptops and the colourful IdeaPad Vibe at IFA 2026 NEWS
Lenovo IdeaPad Vibe adds some colour to laptops If Yoga is about creative power, Lenovo’s IdeaPad Vibe is about making everyday laptops a little less generic-looking. Set to be available in 14- and 15-inch sizes, the upcoming Vibe range will come in seven colours developed in consultation with Pantone Institute: Dreamy Violet, Spicy Gold, Zen Green, Chill Blue, Radiant Coral, Moody Blue, and Lowkey Grey. There are even optional customisable keycaps if seven colours somehow aren’t enough. There’s plenty happening beneath the colourful exterior, too. Snapdragon X-powered configurations support Copilot+ PC features, while AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series models offer up to 32GB of upgradeable memory. Intel-powered versions are also coming later. The range will start at a backpack-friendly 1.3kg. Display choices will include OLED panels with up to 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage, alongside IPS options offering up to 120Hz refresh rates. Lenovo Qira will also appear on select configurations, connecting with supported email, calendar, and collaboration services to provide more contextual assistance without constantly bouncing between apps.
Lenovo hit IFA 2026 with a major refresh of its line-up including powerhouseYoga laptops and tablets for creators, plus an all-new IdeaPad Vibe series that puts personality front and centre. Check out what’s on the way... Words Bec Summer
Lenovo Yoga gets serious about creators The new Lenovo Yoga line-up will be headlined by two premium laptops powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark: the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n (15”, 11) and convertible Lenovo Yoga 9n 2-in-1 (16”, 11).
They’ll be joined by two new pen-first Android tablets, while Lenovo’s Smart Canvas Concept and Qira personal AI experience aim to make moving ideas and projects between compatible devices easier. The Yoga Pro 9n is the powerhouse of the family. With up to 128GB of unified memory, it’s built to tackle demanding local AI, software development, video editing, and 3D rendering workloads – with RTX gaming thrown in when the workday is done. Its creator credentials also include a PureSight Pro OLED display and pen-enabled haptic Force Pad. Prefer something that bends to your workflow? The Yoga 9n 2-in-1 pairs RTX Spark performance with a 360-degree convertible design and an unusual dual-surface pen setup that lets you draw on either its 16-inch PureSight Pro OLED touchscreen or the Force Pad. Meanwhile, the Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 gets a 13-inch 4K PureSight Pro display and Snapdragon 8 Elite power, while the lighter 11-inch Yoga Tab Gen 2 weighs just 480g. Both put pen, voice, vision, and touch at the heart of the experience, and Lenovo is promising seven Android OS upgrades. • Lenovo has not yet announced an Australian release date
