What size TV should I get for my space? A good rule of thumb is to match screen size to how far away you sit. For 4K TVs, the ideal viewing distance is roughly 1 to 1.5 times the screen size – so for a 65-inch TV, that’s about 1.6 to 2.5m. Bigger is generally better, especially for 4K content, which can still look sharp up close. However free-to-air TV can look a bit softer when viewed on large screens. What’s the difference between all these display types? The latest display tech always raises questions about what acronyms like QLED actually mean. In simple terms, newer tech such as Mini LED or QD-enhanced displays are designed to improve brightness, contrast, and colour accuracy (see page 8 for more).
