tools like Live Translate, Chat Assist, Circle to Search, generative photo editing, and more. Plus, you can use Gemini Live for fast and more natural interaction with the AI assistant when getting real time info like directions, or brainstorming ideas. Pro-grade camera Which brings us to the pro-grade camera system, the iconic Galaxy S, comprising the 200MP wide main rear camera found on the S25 Ultra, a 12MP AF ultra-wide lens with an f2.2 aperture that’s perfect for portraits and low light shots, and a front 12MP selfie camera. It also shares the S25 range’s suite of AI powered editing tools, such as Generative Edit and Audio Eraser (to remove distractions from video audio), along with Samsung’s ProVisual Engine to boost image quality and simplify the shooting process.
W hen Samsung announced its new Galaxy S25 smartphone series at January’s Galaxy Unpacked event, it teased that another member of the S25 family was on the way this year – the S25 Edge. Now, you can finally get your hands on this slender new addition that’s described by Samsung as “merging flagship level performance with superior portability.” Wafer-thin design The Galaxy S25 Edge takes ultra-thin phone design to a new level, sporting a 5.8mm thickness and weighing a light 163g. It’s a phone that can slide smoothly and comfortably into a pocket with space to spare. It may be super-slim, but that doesn’t mean the S25 Edge isn’t sturdy and durable, boasting a titanium frame and Gorilla Glass protection front and back, plus
an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Power-packed performance The S25 Edge shares many of the features and functions of its S25 siblings, starting with a big 6.7” Quad HD+ (3120 x 1440) Dynamic AMOLED display with adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rate, as per the S25+ and S25. It’s also powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy Octa Core chipset – the most powerful processor to date in the Galaxy range. This beast of a chipset delivers lightning fast performance, improved energy efficiency, and smarter on-device AI. AI assistance Speaking of AI, the S25 Edge runs the latest version of Galaxy AI, which includes the new Now Bar organiser along with popular
All-day battery life The battery capacity is slightly less than its S25 predecessors at 3,900mAh, but that’s generally the case with super-slim phones due to design constraints. However you’ll still get all-day use, along with 25W fast charging, wireless charging, and PowerShare to charge a Galaxy Watch or Buds directly from the phone. The bottom line Price-wise, the Galaxy S25 Edge sits between the S25 Ultra and S25+, with the choice of 256GB and 512GB models. You get a flagship level phone with all the Galaxy S25 range’s premium features in an even slimmer and more portable package!
