Wii Sports was a hard act to follow, but Wii Sports Resort arrived and proved a massive success. Taking us to Wuhu Island, we had 12 sports to partake in, and it was Nintendo’s first game to require the new MotionPlus addon for the Wiimote, which was included with the game.

1 What’s the first game that you remember playing? It was quite some time ago, but I remember playing Skool Daze on ZX Spectrum. Another early standout was Turbo on Coleco Vision (with the wheel). 2 What was the last game that you finished? It’s actually a game I’ve played before! I’ve just finished Control . I played it from start to finish when it first launched but have since revisited the updated version along with the extra content. Prior to that, I picked up 1000G from Robocop: Rogue City . 3 What’s your favourite video game/series of all time? My favourite game is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time . Series is far more difficult, obviously - Zelda, Mario Kart, Call of Duty, Assassins Creed, and Gran Turismo/Forza are all series I’ve always been heavily invested in. 4 What do you think is the most underrated video game of all time? I’m sure there’s dozens, but the one which instantly springs to mind is Kane and Lynch: Dead Men . Surely that’s due a remake? 5 What’s the game that you most wish you’d worked on? I expect you’d get a different answer out of me each time you asked me this question, as there are so many great games which hold a place in my heart. Others I’d love to have been involved in due to the sheer scale of the development or the groundbreaking technical advancement. I think the GTA series would be fascinating, and Halo and Half Life 2 would also be defining moments in gaming, as would be Gran Turismo .
