sessions and sudden downpours, and the carry case is also nicely water-resistant at IP54. How do they sound? The Momentum Sport buds are optimised for sports and exercise, and pump out balanced, high-quality sound while you pump iron, and adaptive noise cancelling blocks background buzz at the gym. Equipped with an all-new 10mm driver, the bass is punchy for that extra motivation, and call clarity is clear. Partial awareness is customary with many sports earbuds, and the Momentum Sport have a semi-open design, along with transparency and anti-wind modes that can easily be set via the app. There's also an integrated ‘acoustic relief channel’ that reduces footsteps, breathing, and other bodily distractions (like grunting during a weights session), which works extremely well. The buds support Bluetooth v5.2, aptX Adaptive and AAC codecs for Android and iOS, respectively, as well as basic SBC. What are the customisation options? The Momentum Sport have customisation options for EQ presets and reconfiguring tap and touch controls, so you can easily personalise both (with the exception of Accept/ Mute and Reject/End for calls). You can also set up and enable Sound Zones for your regular haunts (home, gym, office), and the buds will automatically switch the EQ and Noise settings to suit the location, and deactivate them when you’ve left the selected zone. It’s a handy set-and-forget feature. How much playback time do you get? Fully charged, the buds’ battery is good for up to six hours of playback, with three full charges in the carry case to extend this up to 24 hours in total. And if you’re running on empty (pun intended), a ten-minute quick charge will give you 45 minutes of play time.
