COLD STEEL (1987) Imprint are killing it with Blu-ray world firsts, and this release is no exception. Starring Brad Davis, Sharon Stone, Jonathan Banks, and ‘80s new wave star Adam Ant, Cold Steel is a gritty neo-noir thriller about an LAPD detective who puts his career on the line in an all-out effort to bring the killer of his father to justice. But nothing is as it seems, as another sinister revenge plot is discovered by a murderous former colleague (Banks)

STRANGE INVADERS (1983) This follow-up to the cult classic Strange Behavior (AKA Dead Kids , 1981) stars Nancy Allen ( RoboCop ), Paul Le Matt ( American Graffiti ), Louise Fletcher ( One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest ), and Wallace Shawn ( The Princess Bride ). It tells the story of a town that appears to be trapped in time, becoming home to aliens disguised as humans. A professor tries to rescue his daughter from the town’s clutches, but must get out before being captured himself. Written by future Oscar-winning director Bill Condon ( Beauty and the Beast , 2002), Strange Invaders is a brilliant homage to the sci-fi B-movies of the 1950s.
