I WANNA DANCE WITH SOMEBODY Whitney Houston's voice soars in this biopic from the writer of Bohemian Rhapsody , which offers a romanticised account of her career. English actress Naomi Ackie delivers an enchanting lead performance in what is essentially a greatest hits package that celebrates Whitney's legacy and reminds us that she was indeed in a league of her own.

A MAN CALLED OTTO Directed by Marc Forster ( The Kite Runner ), this sentimental crowd pleaser is a US remake of the 2015 Swedish film A Man Called Ove . Tom Hanks stars as the grumpy old guy of the title, whose world is rocked by the arrival of a bubbly new neighbour (Mariana Treviño) and the unexpected friendship that develops between them. Keep the tissues handy!

JOHNNY & CLYDE Heist thriller meets supernatural horror in the wild tradition of From Dusk Till Dawn , when the titular serial killers and lovers (Avan Jogia and Ajani Russell) attempt to rob a casino run by a crime boss (Megan Fox, as you've never seen her before) with a demonic slayer at her beck and call.
