It began with The 1975's single/7" Medicine, which I snagged for free for being signed up to their email list. [My collection has] gotten out of control; I had to get a bigger shelf last year to accommodate! Do you have a vinyl collection? If so, how did it begin, and expand? Michael Jackson ruled the airwaves in March 1983, with his track Billie Jean from the album Thriller. The song was reportedly mixed 91 times by celebrated engineer Bruce Swedien (who usually mixed tracks just once), with Jackson and producer Quincy Jones finally settling on mix number two as the final version.
