The Nespresso Vertuo Pop comes in four colours - mango yellow, white, black, and mint green.
Sustainability in the mind In the aim to reduce the environmental impact, 35 per cent of the Vertuo Pop is made from recycled plastic. And what about the aluminium pods? You can take these back to a Nespresso boutique or one of more than 19,000 collection points around Australia, where the capsules will be sent to recycling centres.
Bright Brews The vivid colour range of theVertuo Pop is set to brighten up the kitchen space with style and ease of use. Words Bec Summer
whatever the size of the kitchen or office area. Depending on your preference, the Pop delivers your favourite brew in four sizes:
Expresso, Double Expresso, Gran Lungo, and Mug full. Once you fill up the water, it takes around 30 seconds to heat it up. The Vertuo’s secret weapon is its pods. A barcode on each pod tells the coffee machine precisely what it is, based on set preparation parameters and cup size. It delivers the perfect size and blend at the touch of a single button. The water flow can be stopped by pressing the power button on top of the machine if a smaller cup is desired. It’s that easy. With no complicated settings to continually adjust, the beauty of the Vertuo Pop is its simplicity, eye-catching colourways, and ability to deliver a quality brew. A statement piece for any kitchen or coffee prep space, the striking Pop is set to shake up the world of drab coffee machine hues.
Spin out At the heart of a successful cup of Nespresso is the extraction technology. Once you close the coffee machine lid, the magic begins. The capsule starts spinning and reaches a mind-boggling 4000 rotations per minute. At this point, the coffee blends with the hot water to create the creamy and tasty brew Nespresso is famous for.
N ot everyone has the time or the patience to embark on the full home barista ritual in the mornings. However, if you have a penchant for a decent cup of coffee on the fly, Nespresso has capably filled that gap for over 30 years. The technology is specifically designed for a hassle-free experience while still retaining the quality we in Australia have come to expect from a cup of joe. The latest innovation in this space from Nespresso is the Vertuo Pop. Gone are the neutral kitchen tones we have come to expect from our coffee machines. Nespresso has ripped up the conventional colour chart here
and released a swatch of vibrant tones set to
appeal to a younger, funkier demographic. The colours include Mango Yellow, Aqua Mint, Coconut White, and Liquorice Black. Not only are the Vertuo Pops brightly coloured, but they are also compact and relatively light at just 3.5kg, so they’ll fit neatly on a work surface without demanding too much real estate,
