What‘s your all-time favourite album and why?

Definitely Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge [by My Chemical Romance]! It's fast-paced and chaotic – perfect for rocking out to. I also adore albums that have a story within them, and Three Cheers is such a romantic story at its very core. Plus, the bass is delicious in every song.

Do you have a vinyl collection? If so, how did it begin, and expand?

I do! Mine started with the ones my dad collected over the years, which have now been passed down to me. I remember looking through Op Shops together in the good old days, to see what we could find. I further the collection with the ones we have at work – so many older ones to remember the good times, and new ones to make more memories.

What‘s an early, cherished music memory?

Buying the You Me at Six self-titled album. I remember travelling to Perth, when I lived in the country, to go buy the CD from JB Hi-Fi. My dad waited in Mandurah for hours while me and my friend caught the train.

What do you enjoy most about working in music at JB?

Which recent album do you currently have on repeat?

I love seeing the variety that we have. We truly have something for everyone in the genres that we carry, and customers are always giving us new recommendations all the time. It also feels really great being able to find that one CD they've been searching for for a while.

At the moment I've been on a big Pierce the Veil kick, and have been blasting Selfish Machines . So much nostalgia, and the music makes me so amped up. The instrumental is beautiful, just to top it off.
