Meanwhile, if you haven’t played it before there are helpful tutorials that’ll get you up and running. With a heavy dose of punk rock and ska on the soundtrack, Tony Hawk ’s wasn’t just a fun arcade skateboarding experience, it also captured the essence of skateboarding culture at the time. Rest assured, the soundtrack here absolutely crushes it too. Ultimately, the most excellent news is that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 takes everything about the first two games, upgrades it with current gen graphics, adds some new tunes, includes fresh menu systems and a slick interface, and lets you have at it. All the maps from both games are here and, with the new level creation tool, it shouldn’t be long before some awesome people will be recreating classic maps from other games in the franchise. It’s finally time to assemble! Tomb Raider ’s Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have turned their attention to Earth’s mightiest heroes. The story of Marvel’s Avengers kicks off on A-Day, where the Avengers are unveiling their second HQ in San Francisco, as well as their new helicarrier, the Chimera . However, the festivities are cut short when Taskmaster attacks the Golden Gate Bridge. The third-person action

begins as Thor, Iron Man, Hulk and Black Widow set out to stop Taskmaster, but something goes drastically wrong.

Inhuman hunters and… well, smashing things! There’s a variety of combat and gameplay mechanics, depending upon which Avenger you’re playing as. Hulk works as a tank class dealing a heap of close-range damage, while Iron Man is more of a damage per second class with range and anti-air. Thor acts as a mixture of those two, able to deal a decent amount of damage and also fly. Black Widow plays similarly to a rogue class and works great when alongside fellow Avengers, but can struggle when alone. Each Avenger also has added abilities – support, offensive and ultimate. The latter will never cease to amaze. Marvel’s Avengers is something that we’ve never seen before. The campaign is full of heart and character development, plus reassembling the Avengers is fantastic. We can’t wait to see how Marvel’s Avengers grows and evolves. AD
