MOUSE Logitech G Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse
The humble computer mouse comes in many shapes and sizes, but when it’s time for gaming it’s what you can’t see that can really make the difference between a winner and a runner- up. Logitech know this, which led to them developing the G Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse specifically for the esports pro.
The aim was to find the perfect shape, weight and feel, combined with lag-free wireless tech guaranteed to never let the player down. The latter comes courtesy of Logitech’s HERO 16K next-gen gaming sensor, which can track the most fleeting of mouse flicks and ever-so-quick button clicks – and all while being frugal on battery use. Bells and whistles never hurt, especially when they’re useful. Here, the ultra-light Logitech G Pro Wireless offers up removable, programmable buttons on both its
GAMING CHAIR Anda Seat AD12XL-03 If you’re going to be seated for extended periods of time, you need somewhere comfortable to park your back end. Complete with ever-important lumbar support as well as a handy neck pillow, the Anda Seat AS12XL-03 provides essential cushioning and support. It commands a formidable presence in any room, and lives up to the XL letters in the title. Wider than the average business class seat on an aircraft, this chair resembles an amalgamation of the Caped Crusader, Darth Vader and a B-2 stealth bomber, with a high back rising like the Iron Throne. The seat itself is made from a PVC leatherette material that purports to be highly stain-resistant and can be easily cleaned with a cloth and warm water. Mould shaping foam contours perfectly accommodate the rear end, and the padding is super-comfortable. A sturdy beast with a steel framework, the chair can recline to 160 degrees and features armrests that are adjustable in four directions. It can even support a load of up to 182kg.
audio fidelity, comfort and, critically, durability – if you’re schlepping them all over town then you don’t want flimsy gear. The A40 TR really fits the bill, being lightweight yet surprisingly sturdy. Designed for marathon gaming sessions, the A40 TR is also lightweight – just what you need for those extra-long play sessions. While out of the box the A40 TR is an open-backed headset with swappable precision mic and customisable speaker tags, it’s also ready for competition, with the ability to modify the setup for noisier surroundings into a closed-back, noise-isolating headset by adding a Mod Kit with sealed Speaker Tags, synthetic leather ear cushions and a voice-isolating microphone. The all-digital, lag-free Astro Mixamp Pro TR, meanwhile, offers total control over the A40 TR’s volume control, chat-mix, Dolby processing, EQ and more, along with an optical in connection. If you’re after the top-of-the-line, all-in-one experience, or just like to keep things as wire- free as possible, then the Astro A50 Wireless may be what you need. Boasting Astro Audio V2 for true-to-life sound, it comes complete with a charging base station, perfect for simplifying charging as well as keeping your headset safely in one spot, rather than that tendency many of us have to just leave things where they lie. As well as delivering monumental sound, the output of the A50 Wireless is eminently tweakable, via Astro’s Command Centre software. With its built-in mixamp, you can tune every input and output parameter of the A50 precisely for your specific setup, from audio balancing to Dolby Audio settings. Other handy features

Meanwhile, onboard memory allows the storage of all preferences, including DPI, saving setup time as you game on the go. HEADSET Astro A40 TR Headset + Mixamp Pro TR Astro A50 Wireless + Base Station As anybody who’s ever been lumped with a cheapo headset will attest, if you’re serious about the sound that hits your ears then it’s worth spending enough to secure a really good unit. budding and thriving esports stars alike, in particular two high-end headsets in the A40 TR and A50 Wireless, both of which come in in two flavours, one for PS4 + PC and the other for Xbox. The Astro A40 TR Headset + MixAmp Pro TR bundle delivers a top-notch wired headset, along with the ability to mix your Dolby Audio sound output just how you like it. The headset aims to strike the perfect balance of
abound, a favourite being the “flip to mute” unidirectional mic – no fiddling about searching for a mute button – while the A50’s 15-plus hours of battery life should be enough for the most extended gameplay sessions.
