I grew up with it and loved that they finally made a live action movie. And with Ryan Reynolds in it, it’s a match made in heaven,” she laughs. Roving Reporter is always curious to know if a store has a point of difference from other JBs, and in this case it’s the customers’ taste in TV series. Whilst a love of British period dramas seems to be a recurring trend in stores nationwide, that’s not the case in Armadale. “ Wentworth is our biggest seller,” reveals Ash, “along with Orange is the New Black . We also have a lot of clients who like horror and comedies, as well as the blockbusters – it’s a bit of everything. But Wentworth goes gangbusters!” It seems appropriate to bookend our chat with another Rocky Horror reference, and ask Ash which upcoming releases are making customers “shiver with antici...pation?” “They’re looking forward to 1917 , and Bad Boys for Life will be popular, too.”
