talking dog and a big adventure, it runs the
gamut of emotions from A–Z, as well as making everybody who watches wish – SQUIRREL! – that they too could have a good dog just like Dug... Last, but in no way least, we have the remarkable,

Late last year a massive collection of Pixar classics
and also Oscar-winning, WALL· E . We jump to the 29th century, for the surprisingly emotional story of a trash compacting robot. As what remains of the human race orbit the garbage pile that Earth has become, the sole remaining WALL·E continues to clean up our mess. But this little guy finds remarkable joy in his menial existence, until an encounter with another robot bestows upon him a crucial mission... We can’t wait to experience all five movies again, this time with HDR enhancement and rollicking new Dolby Atmos soundtracks. Remember, adventure is out there! Out March 4
arrived on 4K Ultra HD – but a handful were missing, including some of their absolute best. This month sees those final five arriving on the format – so, what exactly is coming? Hitting them alphabetically, first up is A Bug’s Life . The tale of a worker ant who thinks big is, in our opinion, one of the most underrated Pixar movies of all time. As young Flik inadvertently brings catastrophe upon on his colony, he sets out to make amends, recruiting brave warriors to protect the ants from the grasshoppers. But these aren’t exactly brave warriors… Next up, we have two monster
movies or, more accurately, two Monsters movies! Monsters, Inc. brings big ol’ Sulley and Mike Wazowski to our fave format in their original door- busting adventure, while Monsters University sends us traveling back into the duo’s past for a spot of origin story on their friendship… The absolute masterpiece that is Up is, well, up next. We have two words for you: “Star” and “Wars” . Yes, we’ve been hoping it would become reality and now it will, as the entire Skywalker Saga is making its way onto 4K Ultra HD. 1977’s original right through to The Rise of Skywalker all hit the format, along with Rogue One . With Solo and The Last Jedi already available, we’ll finally be able to complete our collections on the best format out there. That’s not it for April though, with big recent cinema releases 1917 , Jumanji: The Next Level , The Gentlemen , Underwater and Bad Boys for Life also scheduled, along with family entertainment in Spies in Disguise and Dolittle . Meanwhile, The Elephant Man celebrates its 30th anniversary with a native 4K journey onto the format. It’s going to be an exxy month!
ALSO OUT THIS MONTH
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST If you’ve ever been captivated by the wonder of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast then this is the month for you, as both the delightful 1991 animated feature AND the 2017 live-action movie make their way to the 4K Ultra HD format. All the romance, fantasy and songs come to life (as does a selection of tableware) in Disney’s animated adaptation of the French fairy tale, while Emma Watson and Dan Stevens step into the Belle and Beast roles in the live-action take. Best of all, the songs such as Belle and The Simpsons fan favourite Be Our Guest will all spring forth in glorious Dolby Atmos. Out March 4
REd Heat When talk turns to classic ‘80s buddy cop flicks, it’s usually Lethal Weapon , maybe, Tango & Cash or even Turner & Hooch . But the entire genre pretty much kicked off in 1982 with Walter Hill’s 48 Hrs ., and the much-underrated Red Heat was his return to the category in 1988. It’s an international mismatch blast as Arnie Schwarzenegger, a Russian cop who heads to the US in
pursuit of a drug lord who killed his partner before fleeing the country, has to team with the laconic, wiseass Chicago cop Jim Belushi. Now we get to experience the wild ride in a native 4K presentation. Out March 11
