PLAT IT AGAIN, SAM (1972) Herbert Ross’s classic Play It Again, Sam makes its worldwide Blu-ray debut in this stunning Imprint release. Marking the start of Woody Allen and Diane Keaton’s collaboration, the film follows a neurotic critic guided by visions of Bogart’s Rick from Casablanca . Based on Allen’s hit play, this romantic comedy arrives in 1080p HD with documentaries, a new commentary, and more.
LIPSTICK (1976) Almost 50 years later Lipstick remains as polarising and controversial as ever. Starring sisters Margaux and Mariel Hemingway, alongside Chris Sarandon, Perry King, and Anne Bancroft, the film explores sexual violence, revenge and justice as a fashion model seeks revenge for a brutal sexual assault by her teenage sister’s music teacher. Imprint’s 1080p HD presentation features a swag of bonus content, including a new audio commentary, interviews, and more.
THE BETSY (1978) Making its worldwide Blu-ray debut, The Betsy is a captivating tale of power, passion, and family secrets in the auto industry. The plot follows a retired auto tycoon who returns to develop a safe, fuel-efficient car, set against the backdrop of elite decadence. Featuring an all-star cast - including Laurence Olivier, Robert Duvall, Katharine Ross, Tommy Lee Jones, and Jane Alexander - this 1080p HD presentation includes a new audio commentary and an archival interview.
LIFEGUARD (1976) This is the film that launched Sam Elliott’s career. Telling the tale of a lifeguard’s midlife crisis, the film has been praised for its nuanced storytelling and poignant themes. Co-starring Anne Archer and Kathleen Quinlan, this exciting 1080p HD presentation includes a new audio commentary.
THE LIBERATION OF L.B. JONES (1970) ANOTHER worldwide first on Blu-ray, William Wyler’s controversial crime drama The Liberation of L.B. Jones hit number one at the American box office. Its raw portrayal of racial tensions and powerful performances solidify its status as an underappreciated cinematic milestone.
SWASHBUCKLER (1976) Before Pirates of the Caribbean , there was Swashbuckler (1976), a rollicking adventure that pays homage to classic pirate films with a modern, tongue-in-cheek twist. Starring Robert Shaw and James Earl Jones, it blends high-seas action with sharp humour. Though not a major box office hit, its spirited performances and nostalgic charm have earned it a cult following among fans of swashbuckling cinema. This 1080p HD release includes a new audio commentary.
