Holland’s Spider-Man is
the youngest yet and the most endearing – an over- enthusiastic kid who’s also a bit of a klutz. And the movie’s big FX set pieces complement rather than overwhelm what is essentially a coming-of-age story in red spandex. The best Spidey movie since Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2 and the most down-to-earth Marvel movie since The Winter Soldier . SH (see page 24)
