It’s a pretty good mix.” The store’s clientele like to have a physical copy in their hands, and Matt says that disc ownership is something people should keep up. “You can do a digital download, you can go to an online streaming service, but in the end, you don’t own it. It’s not yours. I definitely believe you should go out and get something if you enjoy it. Buy it, and it’s all yours.” Matt likes to get physical, too, and will definitely purchase a film or TV series that has replay value. “I’ve been collecting DVDs since

they first came out, and they slowly stack up. I’ve probably got over a thousand.” So what are some of his all-time favourite films? “Going back to when I was a child, I probably started off with Star Wars . I like thrillers like Seven and action flicks like The Raid . I’m not really into those disaster films. I like a story to be about the actual person or character; people play second fiddle to the storyline and special effects in disaster movies. I like a movie with common sense, a good script, acting and director.” And his favourite part of the job? “Talking to customers, spending time with my teammates, and the satisfaction of getting the job done.”
