It's no surprise then that Maarten has a nostalgic affection for JB's exclusive Rewind Collection of Blu-ray movies packaged in VHS-style cases, citing Wayne's World as

a personal favourite.

"It's a point of difference like this that makes physical retail more interesting than downloads," he notes. Maarten adds that he tends to gravitate to "old classics, comedies, old crappy sci-fi, and arthouse movies like Baraka , Koyaanisqatsi and Young Vincent ." The Campbelltown store attracts a varied clientele, who have a bit of disposable income and have invested in 4K TVs. Consequently, the store's 4K section is booming, particularly the new releases. "There are a lot of young families, and we also have a pensioner retreat on our doorstep, so we get a lot of elderly customers looking for classic movies," says Maarten. "The last Avengers movie has blitzed absolutely everything so far this year, with a flow on effect with the Marvel movie back catalogue. "A popular TV series for us is A Place to Call Home , simply because a lot of the footage was shot in this neighbourhood." Campbelltown customers also love a limited edition Steelbook, and Maarten notes they're a savvy bunch who do their research on what's coming up, and then promptly place a pre-order. "We get a lot of pre-orders; customers arrive forewarned that these items are limited – once they're gone, they're gone."
