Like the best fairytales – and Disney’s animated features for that matter – Into The Woods should both enchant and scare small children, while grown-ups will appreciate the witty score, plus scene-stealing cameos from the likes of Johnny Depp (who else but the Big Bad Wolf?) and Chris Pine, a revelation as a shallow Prince Charming.

Riding the tailcoats of that other successful penguin movie Happy Feet , these small black flappy critters can’t get any cuter.
