to STACK MUSIC

G awrsh, what a month of music chats. Our filmed interview with Parkway Drive's Winston McCall was so epic, I could only fit about half of it into print, so keep an eye on stack.com.au for extra morsels from the eloquent frontman (which I'll be drip-feeding like the sweet metalcore saline your poor, deprived body needs) as well as the interview clip. In other news, Gareth Liddiard's extraordinary new band Tropical F-ck Storm have delivered a total peach of a debut album, A Laughing Death In Meatspace . And finally, the posthumous musical treasure from Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu, Djarimirri (Child Of The Rainbow) , is so beautiful that it's possible you'll bawl when you hear it; I've written up a review which also looks into the brilliant new documentary about the late artist's life and mission, entitled Gurrumul and due in cinemas on May 25.
