Put it this way, in order for me to do streaming/video making as a full-time job, I had to move to the city to gain access to the NBN.

It’s not something that usually happens overnight, though (except in rare cases). Don’t be discouraged if you don’t see any growth immediately. If you want to be successful you have to work hard at it. What does your setup look like (PC specs/console, streaming/ recording equipment, peripherals) I mainly use PC for streaming and video stuff. At the moment I’m rocking a Geforce gtx 1080, Intel Core i7-6850k CPU @3.60GHZ, 32gb RAM and a dual monitor 144hz set-up.

We’re profiling some of Australia’s biggest content creators to see what really makes them tick. This month we spoke to Bazza Gazza, who is best known for his Overwatch and Fortnite videos!

When did you first start out makingYouTube videos? I’ve always enjoyed making little videos as a kid, however I started getting a bit more serious with videos on YouTube in late 2016. What got you into content creating in the first place? I’ve been watching gaming videos online ever since early 2008 and since then have always thought that I would enjoy making some content of my own. In my short time on YouTube it’s stayed relatively the same with the exception of the games that are being played. YouTube (in particular the gaming side) heavily depends on what games are trending/popular and your ability to make content of said games, which ultimately determines how successful you’ll be. How has the scene changed since you first started withYouTube?

What’s the best thing to have come out of your career as a content creator? Travelling to other countries for gaming conventions has definitely been the highlight.

Meeting people from across the world who enjoy your content and that it’s helped distract them from difficult times in their life. How many hours a day do you devote to producing videos/ streaming content? Most days it can vary but for the majority it’s the same hours as a standard job, around 6-8 per day.
