Travelling through a wormhole that’s mysteriously opened near Saturn, they have no idea what they’re going to find on the three potentially habitable new worlds on the other side,

will pre-empt some of the plot’s big surprises, and revel in the alien worlds, minimalist robots, time slippages, black holes, event horizons, and mind-bending concepts. For those who haven’t, there’s the very human story of a family man who knows what’s at stake and will do whatever it takes to succeed, despite insurmountable obstacles. • See page 34
and neither should the viewer – there will be no spoilers here. Interstellar is a dazzling and cerebral sci-fi epic that’s at once familiar (there will be comparisons to 2001: A Space Odyssey , Gravity and even Inception ) and at the same time unlike anything we’ve seen before. The Theory of Relativity Becoming Laaa
Once fans of the first two Night at the Museum films get over the fact that they’ve replaced the actor who plays Nick (son of Larry Daley), there’s plenty to enjoy in this third visit. Film history repeats itself in Secret of the Tomb, which follows Larry (Ben Stiller) and the usual gang as they travel to the British Museum in the hope of restoring the damaged Tablet of Ahkmenrah,

thus ensuring the exhibits will keep coming to life. But when the tablet is snatched by a reanimated Lancelot, all manner of mayhem erupts. This installment is particularly notable in that it features one of the final performances of the late, great Robin Williams (as Theodore Roosevelt), alongside returning players Rami Malek (Ahkmenrah),
Owen Wilson (Jebediah) and Ricky Gervais (as Dr. McPhee). There’s also an Aussie addition to the cast, with Rebel Wilson as an eccentric British security guard. With new historical exhibits coming to life, there’s plenty for the kids to marvel at – and be educated by – in this final farewell for both the franchise and Williams.
