Enchanted Table Read A Beauty of a Tale The Women Behind Beauty and the Beast From Song to Screen: Making the Musical Sequences: - “Belle” - “Be Our Guest” - “Gaston” - “Beauty and the Beast” Extended Song: “Days in the Sun” with intro by Bill Condon Deleted Scenes Making the Music Video: Beauty and the Beast Making a Moment with Celine Dion
The tale as old as time gets the live-action remake treatment from Disney. Harry Potter’s Emma Watson plays the bored Belle, whose beauty plants her in the blinkers of town hunk Gaston (Luke Evans), who’s determined to woo and marry her. When Belle’s father (Kevin Kline) is held prisoner in the castle of a cursed Beast (Dan Stevens), Belle sets off to rescue him, and, well, you
know the rest… Once you get past the rather unsettling anthropomorphised furniture, teapots and candlesticks, this is a thoroughly delightful reimagination featuring all the songs from the 1991 original, plus a few new ones thrown in. And the choreography is marvellous – we recommend paying special attention to ‘Gaston’. Watson is magical as Belle – helped largely by her similar role as Always be yourself. Unless you can be Batman. THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE
Hermione, we assume; Luke Evans is a suitably brash Gaston; and you’ll care more for Dan Stevens’ sheltered Beast than you did for his cartoon counterpart. While most would argue that the animated version is perfect, and if it ain’t broke... but in many regards, director Bill Condon improves upon it and gives us something that wasn’t there before. AK

Director and Crew Commentary Original Animation Shorts: - Dark Hoser - Batman is Just Not That Into You - Cooking with Alfred - Movie Sound Effects: How Do They Do That? The Master: A LEGO Ninjago Short Deleted Scenes
Following the success of The LEGO Movie (with Batman in a starring role), director Chris McKay wisely decided the caped crusader deserved his very own block-buster. The LEGO Batman Movie follows the Dark Knight (once again voiced by Will Arnett) on a quest to find his place in a world where being a superhero is predominantly a solo endeavour. LEGO Batman begins (ha!) with our hero pitched against every villain he has ever faced. The

Fiennes) is around to lift logs and lend a hand, as is Batman’s newly-adopted son, Dick Grayson (Michael Cera), and the city’s new Police Commissioner (Rosario Dawson). A fun addition to the DC Universe that’s packed with Bat film and TV in-jokes, digs at more recent entries to the DCCU, and more catchy tunes in lieu of ‘Everything Is Awesome’ . AK
Joker ((Zach Galifianakis) believes he’s Batman’s greatest nemesis and is suitably miffed when Bruce Wayne disagrees, leading him to round up some big bads to support his cause. If taking on this much of a threat to Gotham sounds like a lot to handle for old Bats, he does have a bit of help – Alfred (Ralph
