Maybe Michael Crichton was on to something after all… Those who are fans of simulation games like Rollercoaster Tycoon are in for a treat, as there is so much to micromanage within Jurassic World Evolution that it’s impossible to get bored. Once you think you’ve fed the last brontosaurus, or you’ve finally got customer satisfaction up to an agreeable level, a storm will hit and take out your power supply and half of your buildings. You’ll then need to assign park rangers to attend to tasks such as repairs, but you also need to consider dinosaurs escaping where the electric fences have been disabled. Of course, it’s not all doom and gloom. The lore of the game allows you to deep dive into the actual breeding of the dinosaurs, whether you’re trying to recreate a genetically-accurate stegosaurus or see how close you can get to an Indominus Rex. If you’re into genetics or anything in that vein, good luck prying yourself away from this one.

overwhelming to begin with. Thankfully, the game drops you in the shallow end, teaching you the ropes before you begin building your own park. There’s
E very year there’s a competition at E3 to see who can come up with the most outlandish or most impressive booth. While not necessarily the biggest or noisiest booth at the show, Jurassic World Evolution certainly made its presence known, with huge Jurassic World gates, park buggies, and even dinos on display – which was essentially just a giant dinosaur breeding camp. Lines were always around the block for this new game from Frontier Developments – developers of Planet Coaster and Rollercoaster Tycoon . In Jurassic World Evolution , you’re given the chance to prove the Jurassic films wrong and show you can, indeed, run a dinosaur park without everything going haywire. Sound easy? You’re way off the mark.
Being that it’s just you in charge of this esteemed theme park, you have to run

everything – occasionally building things up from scratch. The game runs over six islands; some are already built, and some you can customise to your own liking. You need to consider everything – and we mean everything. Power, breeding, feeding, enclosures, guests – including
something for everyone to love. Love dinosaurs? Great – make one of your own! Want to build your own park to see it thrive? Awesome – there’s a sandbox island where you can do just that! Want to see dinosaurs wreak havoc and eat people? We don’t recommend it, but that’s definitely an option. And the best part is no real people will be harmed in the execution of Jurassic World Evolution .
