out, they all sold… Meg Mac, Middle Kids,” he says. “Bit of Father John Misty as well.” FJM’s God’s Favorite Customer is one of the Music Advisor’s new faves too. “I was a massive fan of Pure Comedy last year,” he says. “Then this one came out and I was like ‘It’s too soon!’ But I dug into his lyrics, and I realised, nah, this is a damn fine album, too.” The recent offering from Mark Oliver Everett, AKA the project head of Eels, is also popular in the Jagoe family: “My son’s just turned five, and he loves the song Bone Dry [from Eels' The Deconstruction ]. He sings along to it, it’s so cute. We were listening to it [in the car] and I thought ‘Okay, I’m going to put that on in-store today.’” Jagoe’s vinyl collection began when he absorbed his parents’ cache, and then inherited the away during Jagoe’s high school years. “I used to wag school and just spend time with my friend’s mum, hanging out and listening to records,” he smiles.
