Your horseTully also practically has her own following. What’s her personality like? She is beautiful and gentle – a lovely natured horse. Land Of Mine has the line “Country girls in the summertime, singing RunTo Paradise .” Apart from that Choirboys classic, what are the other stand-out Aussie hits of your life? Working Class Man by Jimmy Barnes and You’re The Voice by John Farnham… absolute classics that are embedded into our country's musical fibre. The whole song’s about your deep and abiding love for our country, particularly the land. How would you explain that feeling of connection to someone who hasn’t experienced rural Australia? Being born and bred on the land is a hard thing to explain; you see the beauty and opportunity in even the smallest things. It really needs to be experienced to be understood. How do you ensure you stay connected with your family and the things that matter to you when you’re touring? Facetime first of all when I’m away and then when I’m home, it’s important for me to be a husband and Dad and not let work get in the way of making the best out of the time we have together as a family. Which of these new songs are you most looking forward to performing live on the upcoming Unbroken tour? It’s probably Take It Back , because I’m a big fan of the old school rock’n’roll and it’s got a great vibe, and will be fun to play live. Having recently astounded critics with their performance at 2016's BBC Proms in Melbourne, the Orava Quartet are this month releasing their debut album – which arrives with less of a splash and more of an all-out cannonball. Young guns Daniel Kowalik (first violin), David Dalseno (second violin), Thomas Chawner (viola), and Karol Kowalik (cello) illuminate Russia's most seminal composers by splitting their record into three sections – Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, and Shostakovich – and tracing a classical journey from the 1840s right up to 1975. The quartet have also included a bonus track featuring the vocals of Australian soprano Greta Bradman (singing Rachmaninov's Vocalise ). The Orava Quartet have toured in Canada, the United States, United Arab Emirates, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Philippines, and have played for Queen Sofia of Spain and Pope Benedict XVI. A truly stunning debut. ZKR
