Collective Minds Strike Packs for Xbox One/PlayStation 4
Looking for a bit of a competitive edge in gaming but don’t want to fork out for one of those fandangled, fancy, chunky controllers?
C ollective Minds’ Strike Packs for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are controller mods that you can simply clip on to your handheld device to allow for a little extra customisation. In the box you’ll find the part that clips onto the controller itself, as well as a cord you’ll need to connect in order to take full advantage of the mods; these are corded controllers, after all. They add a few paddles and buttons that can really change up how you play the game. The Strike Packs are a great way to add an extra level of customisation to your favourite console controllers,
penalty. The best part is – they simply snap on and off, meaning you’re back to your normal controller configuration in no time. It’s an unobtrusive addition that fits nicely on the back of the controller, and the cable length allows you to still sit on the couch as you would with a wireless controller. In essence, the Collective Minds Strike Packs are a much cheaper – and equally bettering – alternative to buying an all-out devoted custom controller, with the added benefit of flexibility.

Corsair T1 RACE Gaming Chair
If you find you’ve already got the best gaming headset, mouse, and keyboard money can buy, you need the next step up in comfort.
I t might not even cross your mind, but the accessory you use the most when gaming is whatever you’re sitting on. Whether it’s a PC chair, a couch, or an upturned milk crate, it’s important to be comfortable whatever you’re sitting on when gaming. Corsair have answered the call with their T1 RACE series of gaming chairs. “Inspired by racing, built to game” is their tagline, and the boot fits, with the chair being as comfortable to sit in as some European luxury cars. You can get yours in a bunch of colour combinations, and there is an endless amount of customisation options to ensure you’re comfortable for hours on end. There’s a 90 to 180 degree range of recline in the
seat back, and it’s height adjustable to the point where it will leave even a taller individual with their feet off the ground. The steel
skeleton and foam cushion come together to provide unsurpassable
support, and Corsair even include neck and lumbar pillows for ultimate comfort. The armrests are arguably the most versatile; you can raise and lower them, move them closer or further away from the body, and even pivot them so they’re exactly where you want them. Of course, these things don’t come assembled, but putting together the T1 is a breeze, and you’ll be ready to go in under half an hour. The only thing it’s missing is a cupholder.
