Switch Did You Knows… During development and before release it was known as the NX. The Switch is the fastest selling console in Nintendo history. Over 10 million Switches have been sold around the world in under a year. There were around five Switch prototypes created before a final design was settled on. Around 90 per cent of people who own a Switch console also own a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

PayDay 2 Originally released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in August 2013, Payday 2 is making its way to the Nintendo Switch this month. The portability of the Switch brings Payday to life like never before, allowing you to become part of a four- man crew wherever you are, tackling heists solo or with three other people (multiplayer or NPCs). Cooperation is the key to success in each heist, as different types of skills and perks are applied to each individual task. If you choose to carry out a heist without stealth and alert the police, you’ll find an increasing number of progressively more effective police on your tail. Thankfully, there’s no shortage of weapons in Payday 2 , either, with everything from flamethrowers to pistols at your disposal. The Switch port includes all the mainstays of the previous console releases, including the cosmetic enhancements; you’ll be able to choose from hundreds of masks, not to mention patterns and skins for weapons and other gear. Play with your mates or join an online crew, loud or stealthy, and make your mark on the crime world.

Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Video Game If you thought cars and motorbikes were over-represented in contemporary video game culture, you'll be happy to hear that the supercross now has an official video game companion too. Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Video Game is coming to the Switch this month and is the official companion to the 2017 Monster Energy Supercross Championship. You’ll have the chance to race alongside official riders, using kitted-out official bikes from the 250SX and 450SX categories on official racing tracks. Your journey begins at the famous Angel Stadium in Anaheim, and you'll proceed through the rest of the races against a bunch of familiar faces, all gunning for the top spot. That’s without even mentioning the personalisation available to you with the chance to be able to customise both your rider and bike as you see fit, with more than 300 items from 80 different brands at your disposal. Pay particular attention to the detail in the tracks; developers Milestone have made use of the Unreal 4 Engine to really bring out the textures in the ground, as well as impressive lighting and weather patterns for a fully- immersive supercross experience.
