The third and final book in James Dashner's young adult series fortunately hasn't been split into two films (a practice that ceased with the ill-fated Divergent series); this is indeed the chapter for Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) and the Gladers. Maze Runner: The Death Cure hits the ground running with Thomas on a mission to rescue the abducted Minho (Ki Hong Lee) from the clutches of WCKD – the nefarious organisation that started the whole maze running shebang in an attempt to eradicate the apocalyptic Flare virus.
