GOD OF WAR GENRE: ACT-ADV PLATFORM: PS4 RELEASE: 20/04/18 MULTIPLAYER: NO

At long last, Kratos returns! Abandoning Zeus et al and adopting Norse mythology this time 'round, Kratos is now a father to young Atreus. With a new console generation comes a complete reimagining of the series; with our protagonist now wielding a battle axe, the camera has shifted to an over the shoulder view. Kratos also uses a shield that, when he isn't using it in melee, doubles as armour. Expect the frenetic combat the series is known for, as Kratos balances fighting whatever Norse monstrosities are thrown at him with the task of being a father.
