It takes time for cars to go from drawing board to being driven away (plus dealer charges, stamp duty, insurance, etc). Project CARS features many speed machines, and has taken years – and much community involvement – before hitting your JB showroom. It’s not just about cars though, as more than 50 tracks (including Mount Panorama at Bathurst) feature. A more realistic driving simulator, fun still triumphs, as you can dive straight into any racing discipline from karting to endurance with many (pit) stops along the way.

Half Minecraft, half Warcraft, War for the Overworld is the Reese's Pieces of the gaming world – it should be an abomination to all senses, but it works, and it works damn well. As an Underlord, it is your hell-driven duty to attack the Overworld and the puny mortals who walk upon it. The demonic narrator will help you amass an army of beasts and ghouls to ensure your journey ends in complete domination. All you'll need are wits, courage, town planning skills, and a penchant for breaking apart bricks. Prepare for the deep – it's waiting for you.
