THE WALKING DEAD: DARYL DIXON The juggernaut that is The Walking Dead gets its fifth spin-off series with Daryl Dixon , a sequel series starring Norman Reedus, which takes place after the events of the original series. The story has Daryl (Reedus) waking up on a French shoreline and uncertain how he got there. He must journey across a broken France in hopes of finding his way home. The series has been praised by critics and is a powerful entry into the groundbreaking franchise.

EVANGELION:3.0+1.11 THRICE UPON A TIME From legendary director Hideaki Anno, this fourth and final instalment of the ‘Rebuild of Evangelion’ films brings an epic conclusion to the story of Shinji and his fellow Eva pilots. Misato and her anti-NERV group Wille arrive in Paris, a city now red from core-ization. Crew from the flagship Wunder land on a containment tower, with only 720 seconds to restore the city. When a horde of NERV Evas appears, Mari's improved Eva Unit 8 must intercept.

BUTCHER’S CROSSING Nicolas Cage continues to surprise with his latest film Butcher’s Crossing , which has him starring alongside Fred Hechinger ( The White Lotus ) as a Colorado hunter in the late 1870s who leads a team in search of a mythical herd of buffalo. In the vein of The Revenant, Butcher’s Crossing is based on the seminal book by John Wards Williams and is a confronting, horrific, and sublime adventure exploring human nature, obsession, and man’s relationship with the natural environment.

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: NEXT OF KIN One of the most successful independent horror franchises of all time gets a seventh instalment with Next of Kin , and the series’ creators Jason Blum and Oren Pelin are on board as producers. This latest terrifying chapter has a woman moving to an Amish community in search of her long-lost mother. After a series of strange occurrences, she suspects that the community that welcomed her might be hiding something far more sinister. Fans of the original series will certainly want to check this one out.

WONDERWELL Starring the late Carrie Fisher in her final role, as well as pop superstar Rita Ora, Wonderwell is a fantasy adventure for fans of Stardust, Snow White and the Huntsman, and Ella Enchanted . Twelve-year-old Violet is visiting Italy with her bickering parents when she ventures into a forest and falls through a magical portal, into a strange and wonderful world filled with grotesque and glorious sights. But getting back to her world proves more difficult than it seems.

HELLRAISER Just when the Hellraiser series seemed to be all but done and dusted, this tenth instalment comes along to remix horror maestro Clive Barker’s vision, and put the series back on track. This gnarly reimagining tells of a young woman struggling with addiction who comes into possession of the dreaded Lament Configuration puzzle box, summoning the Cenobites (Hell servants) who offer her the ultimate pleasure and pain.

KANE Aussie stars Jake Ryan, Jeremy Lindsay Taylor, Tammin Sursok and Nathan Phillips light up the screen in this Guy Ritchie-esque Aussie thriller about a crime boss with multiple personalities, who wages a gang war with the notorious “Frankie”. Fans of movies like Two Hands, Gettin’ Square, and Dirty Deeds will love this brutal and often hilarious action thriller that grips the viewer by the throat and doesn’t let go until the very end.

HERE BE DRAGONS In the spirit of The Constant Gardener and Balibo, Here Be Dragons is a gritty and realistic dramatic thriller about a former British soldier turned UN war crimes investigator. He travels to Serbia on a solo mission to hunt, capture, and bring to justice a notorious – and presumed dead – paramilitary commander, who’s been discovered living in plain sight in Belgrade.
