THE DIVE Things get very tense in this claustrophobic deep-sea diving thriller based on the Norweigan film Breaking Surface . Don’t let the whiff of a remake turn you off, because the original film’s director has also written this new chiller, and brilliantly recaptures its urgency. It tells the story of two sisters on a weekend diving trip, who are thrown into a life-threatening situation when one is trapped at the bottom of the sea. It’s intense, to say the least! SCRAPPER In the vein of Wild Rose (2018) and Eighth Grade (2018), this heartwarming drama tells the story of a little girl living alone, secretly, in an apartment following the death of her mother. When her deadbeat father arrives to look after her, the two of them are forced to face some very harsh realities in building their relationship to avoid the foster care system. It's a beautiful and endearing comedic drama that will warm even the coldest of hearts. CONFIDENTIAL INFORMANT This gritty crime thriller starring Mel Gibson tells the tale of two narcotics agents hunting for a cop killer during a crack epidemic. Hoping for leads, Moran (Dominic Purcell) and Thornton (Nick Stahl) pay off a junkie informant. To provide for his wife (Kate Bosworth) and son, Moran involves the stool pigeon in a deadly scheme. This causes the partners to come under the scrutiny of a suspicious internal affairs agent, leading to an explosive finale. THE ENGINEER Based on explosive true events, Emile Hirsch ( Into the Wild ) leads this action-packed thriller about the hunt for the mastermind behind the deadliest suicide bombings in history. As Israel is rocked by a series of terrorist bombings, a US senator’s daughter is killed in an explosion. Now, an ex-Mossad agent must lead an elite, covert team to find the man responsible – the elusive ‘Engineer’. ALL FUN AND GAMES This nail-biter follows a group of young siblings as they uncover the secrets of a demonic presence. While at a party, the kids play a scary game in which a summoned demon possesses the player’s body. The rule is: if you lose the demon's games, you die – at least according to the legend. At its heart, All Fun and Games explores family trauma and the strength of siblings coming together.
