WHAT’S COMING IN JANUARY?

1 What’s the first game that you remember playing? I think it was a game called Xevious by Namco. I remember really playing through that game. 2 What was the last game that you finished? Recently, I finished The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom . It was simply wonderful. 3 What’s your favourite video game/ series of all time? I would have to say my favourite is the Super Smash Bros. series. I’m not much of a fighting game person, but I found this game to be very well made, so I’ve been playing it for a while now. Maybe it’s also due to my child being absorbed in it, too. underrated game of all time? That’s a very hard question. From a production point of view, I think everyone has their own list of unspoken challenges. In that sense, I think there were a ton of games where the developer’s intentions didn’t quite reach the players, but I’m going to keep specific title names a secret. 5 What’s the game that you most wish you’d worked on? I just love new games, so I’m always excited when games with new concepts are introduced. It isn’t too recent, but I would have loved to make It Takes Two . A lot of ideas come to mind when the cooperation of two players is a requirement, and it seems very fun! 4 What do you think is the most Producer on Samba de Amigo: Party Central at Sonic Team. ALONE IN THE DARK It’s a love letter to the survival horror originator, as the series is reborn for a new era. You can play as either of two protagonists – voiced by Jodie Comer (TV’s Killing Eve ) and David Harbour (TV’s Stranger Things ) – in a mystery that’s set in the US deep south of the 1920s. Explore a home for the mentally ill where strange things are afoot, in a plot involving odd residents, dangerous monsters, and, of course, rising evil!

PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE LOST CROWN Rather than doing the 3D thing like more recent Prince of Persia outings, Ubisoft have gone the 2D route that kicked the classic series off all those years ago. Set to be a Metroidvania-styled adventure, complete with the puzzle elements that the series is revered for, the player will take on the role of Sargon, a member of a group called The Immortals who’s tasked with saving the titular Prince. Yes, the royal one gets a break from all of the running and jumping this time!

LIKE A DRAGON: INFINITE WEALTH The latest mainline entry in the epic Yakuza/ Like a Dragon story is coming, and it’s set to up the ante of the series’ captivating emotional drama even more. The story sees two larger-than-life heroes - Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu – brought together, in a world of fast-paced RPG fights where the battlefield becomes your weapon, and anything goes. Only three years on from Gran Turismo 5 on the PS3 came the eagerly awaited Gran Turismo 6 , also for PS3. While the PS4 had Gran Turismo Sport in 2017, it wasn’t until 2022 that Gran Turismo 7 emerged, for both the PS4 and PS5.
