There’s been plenty to choose from with blockbusters like Oppenheimer, The Super Mario Bros. Popular with the more senior members of the family who will regale fantastic stories of listening to the Test at Lord’s under the bed covers in the late ‘50s, the transistor radio was a pocket-sized portable radio. Commonly seen and heard in suburban backyards and at sporting events, the portable transistor radio was a game changer, allowing users to take their favourite radio programmes and sports coverage mobile.
