safety in mind all the time. If the job cannot be done in a safe manner, you walk away. What’s the most rewarding part of your job? I am a passionate pilot and cinematographer/ photographer; drone filming has struck a chord with two of my passions. There are times when I am jealous of my little aircraft up there, having all the fun. If you look up some of my videos online, you will see what I mean.

What does your job entail? As a commercial drone pilot, I capture video, photos, and utilise ground-scanning technology, and my area is mainly related to film and TV and photography. I have filmed for Red Bull, shot for Peter Jackson and worked on other feature films. What’s the most challenging part of your job? Covering events while maintaining safety.
