SMARTER USER INTERFACE LG’s webOS platform has undergone a new design with significant streamlining for a more customisable experience for multiple users. An AI Concierge will curate a list based on viewing and search history, so family members can access personalised content recommendations. Additionally, webOS now supports the smart home standard Matter, for a wider range of connected devices and control. Quick Cards allow speedy access to non movie and TV content like music streaming services and sports broadcasts, along with a Home Office card to help organise work schedules when working from home on the big G3 display. AUDIO TOWOW TV speakers are usually disabled when a soundbar is connected, but a new LG innovation called WOW Orchestra seamlessly synchronises the G3 OLED with a compatible LG soundbar. Every audio channel from both the TV and soundbar is then combined to deliver a more powerful and immersive soundscape – giving you everything, everywhere, all at once on the audio front. Additionally, WOWCAST offers wireless connection between the TV and soundbar, with up to 7.1.4 multi-channel audio transmission for Dolby Atmos. MORE ONBOARD CARE

BRIGHTNESS TO THE MAX Brightness Booster Max does exactly what it says – brightness is mapped and controlled pixel-by-pixel for a sharper and more authentic looking picture that’s up to 70 per cent brighter than non evo OLEDTVs. Moreover, the 55’, 65” and 77” G3 models are the first LG OLED’s to feature Micro Lens Array panel tech, which maximises light emission and enhances energy efficiency. The G3’s Super Anti-Reflective tech is a boon for brightly lit rooms, significantly reducing any distracting glare and reflections on the display to maintain optimal image quality – even on a sunny day.

Its more precise detection of bright and dark areas results in perfect HDR optimisation. Sophisticated AI Deep Learning tech improves overall image quality, depth and detail using dynamic tone mapping, and also upmixes two-channel audio into virtual 9.1.2 channel surround using the TV’s inbuilt speakers.

LG’s OLED Care mode keeps your TV in tip top working order and has now been updated with a Memory Optimiser to further improve performance via pixel cleaning, screen and sound self-diagnosis, and care recommendations.
