Lewton's 1942 classic Cat People , this spin on the werewolf legend is an old fashioned whodunit involving a strange creature that's prowling the streets of Paris and clawing the locals to death. Extras include a new audio commentary and video essay, and The Republic Pictures Story (1991) documentary.

THE GREAT GATSBY (1949) From the silent era to Baz Luhrmann in 2013, F. Scott Fitzgerald's literary classic about enigmatic millionaire Jay Gatsby and his obsession with former lover Daisy Buchanan has been adapted numerous times by Hollywood. This 1949 version – starring Alan Ladd and Betty Field – is the second adaptation, considered lost until 2012 and now arriving on Blu-ray in a 4K scan from the original negative. Extras include a new audio commentary and Alan Ladd documentary (1999).
