Last year we emerged from hibernation and returned to cinemas in droves for a huge year of theatrical releases. And 2023 is shaping up to be even bigger, with the rise of the franchises and the return of some familiar faces. Here is just a taste of what's to come… Words Glenn Cochrane COMING IN 2023
finally bring John Wick the reprieve that he deserves. Or will it? Because there's plenty more in store with a fifth chapter confirmed, as well as two limited TV series in The Continental, and Ballerina . THE SUPER MARIO BROS. Movie is now high on our must-see list. DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: HONOUR AMONG THIEVES April Unbeknownst to many, this is the fourth live action adaptation of the popular fantasy role playing game. Following one poorly received
Czerny. Little is known about the plot, except that it will take place in NewYork City, where part five’s survivors will be stalked by a new Ghostface killer. With good filmmakers, a reliable cast and a new location, this one should be a scream! JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 4 March Keanu Reeves returns for this much-anticipated fourth chapter, which finds the former hitman still at odds with the international organisation of assassins, but finally being offered a sliver of hope at freedom. The trailer promises more of what we love about the series and suggests a family connection will be introduced alongside the stable of returning characters. Fists are flung and guns are fired in what looks to be a slick showcase of style and violence that may
SCREAM 6 March It's fair to say that Scream 5 caught everybody off guard and was much better than any fifth film in a franchise ought to be. Directors Matt
