What‘s your all-time favourite album and why?

Rumours , by Fleetwood Mac. I have always enjoyed it, and with my mum being a massive Stevie Nicks fan, I grew up listening to the band quite often. I love how the album has not aged, and still evokes such strong emotions.

Do you have a vinyl collection? If so, how did it begin, and expand?

I certainly do! My interest in collecting records was unsurprisingly sparked by my mum, as she began collecting records from an early age herself. My collection is constantly growing and it first started by scouting second-hand shops and vinyl record fairs for my favourite songs on vinyl. The feeling I get when I find something I love on vinyl is unmatched – it's like a constant scavenger hunt!

What‘s an early, cherished music memory?

Years ago, I remember when my mum used to drive me to primary school and we listened to Gold 104.3 on the way. It was always great to listen to the music and share those songs with Mum. She would always share facts and knowledge about them, and it was great to see how happy the music made her.

What do you enjoy most about working at JB?

Which recent album do you currently have on repeat?

As I work in processing, I love seeing what comes in store. Whenever I come across something I love, or used to listen to, it always makes me feel so nostalgic. When I used to work in software, I loved sharing my product knowledge with customers, so any opportunity for me to continue with that is a great one!

I don't think I can pick just one album that I play on repeat! But in the recent few months, I have enjoyed listening to Ocean Alley's 2018 album Chiaroscuro from start to finish. Really relaxing, and great for easy listening.
