THE CALLISTO PROTOCOL The Dead Space vibes are super-strong in this one, which isn’t surprising when that classic game’s creator, Glen Schofield, is heading this one up. A narrative-driven, third-person survival horror outing with plenty of shooting action and close-quarters combat, it’s set 300 years into the future, where the player as Jacob Lee, a prisoner in a maximum-security penitentiary located on Jupiter’s moon, must try to escape when fellow inmates start transforming into grotesque monsters.

CRISIS CORE: FINAL FANTASY VII REUNION It’s the return of the prequel to the massive Final Fantasy VII that originally released on the PlayStation Portable. Given a complete overhaul – HD graphics, new 3D models, a remastered soundtrack and full voice acting for every part of dialogue – the tale of Zack Fair and his uncovering of the dark secrets of Shinra’s experiments and the monsters they create has never looked this good. There’s also a new UI, and gameplay too gets the treatment, with an updated combat system.

1 What’s the first game that you remember playing? My earliest memory of video games is from Atari and playing Winter Games . This definitely jumpstarted my love for video games. 2 What was the last game that you finished? The last game I finished this year, for the second time, was Fallout 4 . Outside of that I’ve also put a lot of time into battle royale and sports game titles. 3 What’s your favourite game/series of all time? I’d have to say I’ve found the most joy and spent the most time playing the Sid Meier’s Civilization series. Fallout and Red Dead Redemption would be close second and third. 4 What do you think is the most underrated game of all time? This is a difficult question to answer, because I don’t pay a lot of attention to the overall sentiment around games that I decide to pick up and play, or their overall popularity. 5 What’s the game that you most wish you’d worked on? There are so many amazing games and franchises out there that I enjoy playing, but I’m very happy being involved in PGA Tour 2K and the growth it’s experienced over the years. It’s been incredible to see how this team and game have grown since the initial release of The Golf Club in 2014. I wouldn’t want to have missed out on that.
