What‘s your all-time favourite album and why?

Hozier's self-titled album captured my heart the first time I listened to it, and nothing's managed to knock it out of the top spot yet.

Do you have a vinyl collection? If so, how did it begin, and expand?

What‘s an early, cherished music memory?

I do! My collection started not long after I started working at JB, with Bon Jovi's Slippery When Wet and Black Sabbath's Paranoid . Since then it's grown significantly, and I'm at about 125 albums.

Listening to old Pink Floyd and Bowie LPs with my Mum. I was completely mystified that a piece of plastic could play music, and I remember wondering if they were magic. Mum raised me with her love of music, and that's a massive part of how I ended up with the passion I have now.

What do you enjoy most about working in music at JB?

Which recent album do you currently have on repeat?

Customers with good music taste. I love getting deep into conversation with someone who shares my passion for music. Everyone has had a personal experience with music at some point in their life, and I can never get enough of the stories people have about songs that resonated with them.

My copy of Sour by Olivia Rodrigo has had a pretty good workout on my turntable this last couple of months, although Fearless (Taylor's Version) is getting a lot of play right now.
