The two newest Pokémon games on the block are Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl for Switch, enhanced remakes of the Nintendo DS games Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl .While they share many similarities, there are also some important differences between the two games. Let’s take a look at what they are, shall we? Words Bec Summer T he big differences between the two games come down to which Pokémon are exclusive to which version. Both Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl each feature 37 unique characters. So, if you’re desperate to catch Legendary cover star Dialga, go for Brilliant Diamond , and if you can’t live without the other Legendary cover star, Palkia, then Shining Pearl is the way to go. Don’t forget that you can always trade Pokémon with your Poképals who have the alternate version, too.
