1 What’s the first game that you remember playing? It was Space Invaders at the arcade, with my dad and my brother. And I think beating my older brother at that set me on a life course of video games! 2 What was the last game that you finished? The last game that I finished would’ve been Little Nightmares . 3 What’s your favourite game of all time? I’ve still got a real soft spot for the Half-Life and Portal series. I just love those worlds – I’d love to go back into them. 4 What do you think is the most underrated game of all time? Nowadays, games that I can play in short sessions or I can play in different ways with my kids are the ones that I really value. So, playing Dead Cells with the kids, where they can get a different loadout and play it the way they want and we all have a great time. And then things like Ori and Cuphead , where we can just sort of take it in turns and get frustrated and overcome the challenges. They’re the games that I’m rating way higher than I used to. 5 What’s the game that you most wish you’d worked on? For me, building games apart from getting to work on great franchises has been about the teams that I’ve worked with. So, a game by a good friend of mine, Alex Hutchinson, who built Journey to the Savage Planet with a small crew. I’d just love to build another game with that man.
