I’m a Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones fan. I love fantasy and dragons, and all that kind of stuff. I bought the box sets of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings on 4K, and they look fabulous!

What have you been watching lately that you would recommend?

I’ve actually gone back to the oldies. I’m going through The Big Bang Theory at the moment and then I’m jumping back into Game of Thrones again, which will be my third go-around. You pick up so much more on repeat viewings.

I love the fact that people come in with a video store frame of mind, like getting the old rental on a Friday night or a few for the weekend. It’s like, “Let’s bring the family down and choose a movie.”

Which film do you recall seeing as a child that had a lasting impact on you?

Jaws . I remember renting it on VHS and I’ve been scared stiff of the beach ever since – but only the water. I actually became fascinated with sharks after seeing it. And now it looks even better in 4K, when I want to relive my childhood.

Do you collect movies andTV shows?

I do. I have over 4,000 movies and TV shows combined. I used to have my own video rental store – the first one in Australia to do DVDs. I’ll buy something on DVD and then upgrade to Blu- ray, and now 4K. That’s how I’ve ended up with so many. I also collect POP! Vinyls.
