What’s your all-time favourite album and why?

This is a really tough call to make! I just can't choose one. The Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack is a go-to when I need a singalong; the first album by Ball Park Music, Happiness And Surrounding Suburbs , brings me so much joy; Smoke And Mirrors by Gotye is a masterpiece; AM by Arctic Monkeys is definitely my favourite rock album... and I've probably forgotten some!

Do you have a vinyl collection? If so, how did it begin, and expand?

I do! It's not massive – probably only 20 or so. It started with Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips, and grew over the years. I have every Ball Park Music record on vinyl – obsessed much?

What’s an early, cherished music memory?

Listening to The Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack with my dad in the car. He had a great singing voice and it was his favourite movie! Now it's my favourite.

Which recent album do you currently have on repeat?

What do you enjoy most about working in music at JB?

It's a toss-up between Ball Park Music (self- titled) and Dreamland by Glass Animals. BPM is the group's sixth album and most mature release so far. Dreamland is an excellent follow- up to Glass Animals' second album, full of dreamy, nostalgic vibes. Both winners for me!

It's where I started in 2010 at JB Ipswich, and worked for five years! I've always loved music and the memories it brings back. I enjoy the wide range we can provide and even though it's shrinking because of digital streaming there are still people who cherish physical media. They're my people!
