What’s your all-time favourite film andTV series, and why?

It’s pretty hard to pick just one. I love a good drama like Parasite or O Brother, Where Art Thou?, but I’m always up for a schlocky action movie like Demolition Man or any Arnold Schwarzenegger film. And any video game adaptation is a guilty pleasure – Doom and DOA are absolutely fantastic, in my opinion. A ridiculous amount of fun. My all- time favourite TV show is probably Inspector Rex , a German crime show. I remember watching it as a child – I’ve got all the box sets of the original series and I’ve been slowly making my way back through them as an adult, which is interesting [laughs].

What’s the best thing about working in movies at JB?

What have you been watching lately that you would recommend?

It’s a really nice culture to work in. So friendly. And I get to work with some awesome people and ones that keep up with the same sort of stuff that I do.

I watched Zack Snyder’s Justice League and I actually really enjoyed it. I don’t know a great deal about DC, I’m more of a Marvel fangirl, but it was still easy to follow. There’s a lot of debate about whether or not it’s better or just longer, but I definitely recommend it, especially for fans of anything superhero related.

What was the first film you can recall seeing as a child, or one that had a lasting impact on you?

The one that left a lasting impression would probably be Blade Runner . It’s one of my all-time favourite movies that started a bit of a love for sci-fi, and Harrison Ford movies. I haven’t watched the sequel yet. I love Blade Runner so much – I have a Blade Runner tattoo – that I’m terrified of it being ruined, so I’m still trying to build up the courage to watch it. [RR insists that she does.]

Do you collect movies andTV shows?

I always promised myself I wouldn’t, but yes, absolutely! I have at least a couple of hundred at this point – a couple of bookshelves full. I’m a sucker for the five-dollar clearance movies and seeing if I get something fantastic.
